UFC Lands Knockout Broadcasting Deal with Paramount+

UFC Logo redIn a groundbreaking shift for sports broadcasting, the UFC is stepping into the ring with Paramount+ and CBS in 2026, thanks to a seven-year, $7.7 billion agreement.

The blockbuster deal was unveiled Monday by UFC President Dana White and Paramount. White took to Instagram to confirm the news:

“This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes. For the first time, fans in the US will have access to all UFC content without a pay-per-view model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform. This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world. The exposure provided by Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport.”

No More Pay-Per-View Punches

The deal marks a departure from UFC’s traditional pay-per-view model. Beginning in 2026, fans will be able to stream all UFC events, including 13 marquee numbered shows and 30 Fight Nights, with just a standard Paramount+ subscription. Select major events will also air on CBS, bringing octagon action to even more living rooms across the US.

Paramount confirmed the deal’s terms in a Monday press release. Confirming that the average annual payout clocks in at $1.1 billion with a tiered financial structure and lower payments front-loaded in the early years.

Global Ambitions

For now, the deal covers only UFC’s US broadcast rights. However, Paramount isn’t pulling back any punches; the company has already expressed interest in acquiring international rights once they become available.

Final Round for ESPN+

Until next year, UFC fans will still need to navigate the current ESPN+ model, which requires both a subscription and a $79.99 pay-per-view fee for premium events. So, if you’re planning to catch UFC 319 this Saturday, your wallet isn’t off the hook just yet.

Betting On UFC Events

In 2021, the UFC made DraftKings its official betting partner for the USA and Canada. However, most USA players tend to bet on MMA events with offshore sportsbooks that operate legally from outside of the country.

Online sportsbooks are available in every US State; however, the sites accessible are different depending on the local regulations. Several states have also asked offshore sports betting sites to stop accepting their players as they try to maximize their gambling revenue earnings.

In addition to upcoming UFC events, you will also find other combat odds, including boxing odds, wrestling odds, and odds for other MMA promotions located internationally.
