While there’s no doubt that Survivor is one of the most popular reality television shows currently on the air, betting lines don’t always match that intensity.

Survivor is filmed months in advance, allowing for potential data leaks from staff or contestants. Perhaps that’s why legal entertainment sports betting sites have laid off of routine betting odds for Survivor, but we’re seeing them more often as of late.

All contestants of Survivor 44 possess positive moneyline odds after the completion of two episodes. The leader, Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho, has +200 odds to win, which will pay out at 2-to-1 if he’s the Sole Survivor.

If anyone other than Yam Yam wins, entertainment prop bets will payout at least 5X the amount that was wagered if the correct Survivor is selected.

For instance, if you place a $10 bet on Brandon Cottom to win, it’ll payout at $110 if he does. Cottom is intriguing as he is a former NFL player and possesses a unique physical skillset.

Brandon is also holding an Immunity Idol, which places him in the crosshairs of opponents when making votes in the tribal council.

Matt Blankinship and Frannie Marin are involved in a budding showmance, a fact that is becoming harder to keep from other castmates as the season progresses.

Matt and Frannie’s odds of winning are set at +1400 and +2200, respectively. While those longshot odds could prove profitable if one of them finishes on top, they translate to a 7% chance of winning for Matt and a 5% chance for Frannie.

If anyone is interested in betting on Survivor Season 44, we advise doing so immediately for several reasons.

The first is that these odds are often scarce. They sometimes pop up for the first handful of episodes and disappear until finale night, or worse, until the following season.

The second is that a data leak regarding an elimination or a winner could happen at any time between now and the final episode. Any bets placed prior to a leak will be honored by the entertainment sportsbook site.

Also, as each episode concludes and another Survivor is voted off the island, the odds will shrink. This means smaller payouts on higher risk.

For example, if Yam Yam continues to evade elimination and is among the final handful of contestants, his odds will be nowhere near as profitable as they are right now.

Survivor can be seen on CBS and Paramount+ Wednesdays at 8 PM.
