Detroit Casinos See 9.1% Decrease In Revenue For January 2024  

Detroit casinos reported a 9.1% revenue loss in January of 2024 compared to last year. 

Detroit, MI., has three domestic casinos: MGM, MotorCity, and Hollywood Casino (Greektown). The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) reported that all three casinos generated $94.4 million in gaming revenue in January 2024. 

MGM Casino captured a 48% market share, seeing the most gaming traffic in the city. In January, MGM generated $44.6 million, MotorCity generated $27.1 million, and Hollywood Casino generated $22.2 million.
