2023 XFL Betting: Week 2 Features Thursday Night Football

The XFL has returned in 2023, with Week 1 games already in the books. Are you ready for some Thursday Night Football? Don’t go looking for the NFL on Amazon – find the XFL tonight on FX or ESPN+!

Tonight at 9:00 PM, the latest version of the XFL continues to experiment, which now includes XFL Thursday Night Football when the St. Louis Battlehawks travel to Seattle to face the Sea Dragons.

St. Louis BattleHawks @ Seattle Sea Dragons

  • Battlehawks Point Spread: +3.5
  • Battlehawks Moneyline: +160
  • Sea Dragons Point Spread: -3.5
  • Sea Dragons Moneyline: -185
  • Over/Under: 37.0

XFL betting sites like Bovada have posted game lines for all four Week 2 contests. While last week’s XFL odds were limited to point spreads and over/under totals, this week includes moneyline odds for wagering on the team that will win the game outright.

In order for XFL bets to cover on Thursday Night Football, the Battlehawks must lose by less than 3, or the Sea Dragons must win by 4 or more. These two teams featured the most rabid XFL fanbases back in 2020, so the atmosphere should be electric at Lumen Field.

Because of tonight’s game, only one contest is scheduled for Saturday – a 7:00 PM meeting between the Washington, DC Defenders and the Vegas Vipers.

DC Defenders @ Vegas Vipers

  • Defenders Point Spread: +3.0
  • Defenders Moneyline: +145
  • Vipers Point Spread: -3.0
  • Vipers Moneyline: -170
  • Over/Under: 36.5

The Defenders and Battlehawks are currently tied in the odds to win the XFL Championship at legal football betting sites. DC is projected to climb to 2-0 to start their 2023 season, with a point spread that favors them by a field goal.

Sunday features an XFL double-header, with the first game between the San Antonio Brahmas and Orlando Guardians beginning at 4:00 PM on ESPN.

San Antonio Brahmas @ Orlando Guardians

  • Brahmas Point Spread: -3.5
  • Brahmas Moneyline: -165
  • Guardians Point Spread: +3.5
  • Guardians Moneyline: +140
  • Over/Under: 38.5

The Brahmas dropped an 18-15 heartbreaker to the Battlehawks last weekend and look to get on the right track against the Guardians on Sunday. San Antonio has a -3.5 point edge on Orlando, requiring the Brahmas to win by 4 or more to cover.

At 7:00 PM on ESPN, two undefeated teams will enter TDECU Stadium, with only one unblemished squad remaining when the fourth quarter concludes.

Arlington Renegades @ Houston Roughnecks

  • Renegades Point Spread: +5.0
  • Renegades Moneyline: +165
  • Roughnecks Point Spread: -5.0
  • Roughnecks Moneyline: -195
  • Over/Under: 40.0

Bob Stoops’ Renegades won a nailbiter against the Vipers in Week 1 with a walk-off pick-six. Houston blew out Orlando by a final score of 33-12, setting up this Week 2 matchup of 1-0 Texas XFL franchises.

Most of the attention has been focused on the stout Stoops’ defense, but Houston head coach Wade Phillips is an NFL legend among the ranks of all-time defensive coordinators.

That said, betting the under on the Roughnecks vs. Renegades may be wise this weekend at the XFL sportsbooks included in our list of online betting site reviews.

2023 XFL Futures

  • San Antonio Brahmas +900
