Sweet 16 Betting Odds Tighten Now That Only 5 Of Top 8 Seeds Remain

The first two rounds of the 2022 March Madness Tournament forced the ouster of a 1 seed and three 2 seeds now that the Sweet 16 field has been set.

March Madness betting sites have set their lines for Thursday’s games and the Duke Blue Devils are the only higher seed that is predicted to lose with a +1.0 point spread and a moneyline that is listed in the negative.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are projected to roll by 9 points against the 4 seeded Arizona Razorbacks and still hold the top spot in the futures odds for betting on college basketball and the eventual National Championship winner.

That is a designation that Gonzaga has held since last season following their loss in the March Madness Finals against the Baylor Bears who were ousted in the Round of 32 by the North Carolina Tarheels last weekend.

Speaking of the UNC Tarheels, they’re projected to lose in a tight one against the UCLA Bruins on Friday night as they’re among four games that will close out the Round of 16.

The Iowa Hawkeyes and Miami Hurricanes have both won their way onto the path of least resistance and the winner between this 10 vs. 11 seed matchup are guaranteed a spot in the Elite 8.

The Hurricanes are predicted to move on beyond the Hawkeyes but more money can be won versus the amount risked by betting on the Hawkeyes to win via their moneyline of +125.

The 15 seed St. Peter’s Peacocks are looking to continue their Cinderella story and now find themselves four wins away from a national championship in college basketball. The Peacocks have already knocked off the 2-seeded Kentucky Wildcats and Murray State, perennial March Madness darlings.

Does St. Peter’s have what it takes to eliminate the mighty Perdue Boilermakers from the Tournament this Friday night? NCAAB oddsmakers don’t think so and are granting Perdue a spread of 12.5 points.

Final Four betting is underway now so do not hesitate to wager now if you have a strong hunch as to which 4 teams will be included. Here are the current NCAAB Men’s Division I National Championship futures odds that are available now, with all options paying out and more than the amount of the bet.
